If you don't, then you don't remember it. Can you confirm that?Ĭopy/pasting your password from keychain every day is not the same as remembering from memory.įrom my experience the only way you remember a password is when you have to manually enter it regularly character by character. Or have you forgotten it? Update - Bitwarden are suggesting I have forgotten my Master Password. If anyone has any tips that would be greatly appreciated. I've tried uninstalling the app then reinstalling and still the same problem. I'm really worried my master password has somehow been compromised and leaked but I can't see how that could happen without my iCloud details. I have emailed them again and will update this post with their reply. I have been in contact with Bitwarden support and the only option they have given me is to backup my vault. I am aware this isn't the safest way and I should use a passphrase for a master password (which I will do in the future) but it has been a long string of random letters and numbers since 2019. The way I usually use it on my iPhone is entering my master password via face id and pasting it from Apple's Safari Keychain. I love Bitwarden and have had no problems with it. I have not made any changes to it and the only thing that has saved me is my iPad logs in via fingerprint and my Mac uses a pin so I will have to sit there and transfer every password manually into a new password manager. I have been using Bitwarden since 2019 and as of Monday it no longer recognizes my master password and tells me it is incorrect.
